Our First Annual “Anthony Hollyoak Memorial Golf Tournament” was a huge success thanks to YOU! From our entire family, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making this day such a special occasion. 

As Avery shared in her speech, we had two goals for this tournament. The first was to make a financial contribution to Pancreatic Cancer Canada and the second and most important was to bring together the people that mattered the most in Anthony’s life – his family, friends and colleagues. We are thrilled to announce that we raised $100,000 during this year’s tournament.  This would not have been possible without the very generous support of our Emerald/Title Sponsor – Pattison Sign Group and our Shamrock Sponsors – Rick and Katherine Macina. Every single person that sponsored, played golf, volunteered, donated or joined us as a guest made this goal a reality.  During dinner, we recognized our major sponsors and hopefully you had a moment to review the very lengthy list of companies and individuals that made financial contributions, donated services or gifts towards the Silent Auction, Raffle and Beat the Hollyoak Boys. Our hosts, The Briars Golf Club and The Briars Resort & Spa did an outstanding job managing over 220 guests in back-to-back shotguns followed by a beautiful cocktail reception in the garden and a delicious dinner in the tent.

To honour Anthony’s legacy, the Hollyoak Family will be donating the proceeds of this year’s golf tournament as follows:

$75,000 will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer Canada
$25,000 will be used to create a local scholarship program in partnership with the Briars Junior Program and representatives of the Georgina School Board. 

The scholarship will recognize and reward youth making a positive contribution to their communities. Over the winter months our committee will be working on the 2023 Tournament and the AJH Website.  We will share all of the pictures taken during the tournament as well as the full list of Sponsors, Donors and Volunteers.  Stay tuned…………….
